About Lindsey Caplan

I’m a screenwriter turned Organizational Psychologist with 20 years of experience helping leaders design the live, high-stakes moments that spark connection, shift behavior, and drive lasting change.

I began my career in Hollywood as a comedy writer on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Malcolm in the Middle, where I learned how story, rhythm, and structure influence emotion at scale.

From there, I moved into organizational psychology — first educating at companies like DreamWorks Animation and McKinsey, then leading Learning & Development inside high-growth Silicon Valley companies, including Zendesk, Credit Karma, and Flexport.

I hold a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Communication & Creative Writing for the Media from Northwestern University.

I’m an expert in adult learning, attention, motivation, and group behavior — and in how to design experiences that people don’t just understand… but feel, remember, and act on.

My clients leverage this unique blend of psychology, storytelling, and strategy to create everything from off-sites and leadership programs to values launches, culture activations, and large-scale organizational change.

I’ve designed and facilitated gatherings for thousands of employees across the world — gatherings that have increased engagement, improved referral recruiting, accelerated change adoption, and reduced attrition.

Most of all, I’m fueled by a strong desire to teach and help others succeed.
